Weleetka Public Schools received $20,500 to continue partnering with the Creek Nation and Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology for “Preparing Weleetka Students for Success.”

They are implementing the Math and Science institutes and SREB’s Building and Leading Effective School Improvement Teams.

In addition, grant funds are being used to host Oklahoma’s Promise workshops and provide incentives to students who enroll in the program. Also, the grant monies are offsetting the costs for an online tutoring program and to purchase a computer for students to research college information and utilize ACT practice-test software.
