Thomas-Fay-Custer Unified Schools received $20,500 to continue partnering with Multi-County Youth Services and Southwestern Oklahoma State University for “T.O.R.C.H. – Taking on Rigorous and Challenging Horizons.” They are implementing the Math Institute and SREB’s Assessing Academic Rigor to Ensure Grade-Level Participation and College Readiness. In addition, grant funds are being used to support an online remediation course for students and training programs for teachers, parents and students who help with after-school tutoring.
