Putnam City West High School in Oklahoma City received $20,500 to continue partnering with Southern Nazarene University and the Putnam City Parent Teacher Association for “College Readiness.” They are implementing the Math Institute and CollegeEd. The grant funds are also being used to host orientation meetings for parents and students to learn about Oklahoma’s Promise, college enrollment requirements, scholarships and financial aid. They are also expanding the CollegeEd curriculum to all 10th-grade students to help them set their academic goals and prepare for a postsecondary education.
