Ketchum Public Schools is continuing its partnering with the First Southern Baptist Church of Ketchum and Northeastern State University for “Ketchum Promise.” They are using the $20,500 grant to implement the Science Institute and SREB’s Assessing Academic Rigor to Ensure Grade-Level Participation and College Readiness.
In addition, the grant monies are being used to increase participation in Oklahoma’s Promise through parent workshops, individual assistance and incentives. Also, the grant funds are helping to expand the academic counseling and before- and after-school tutoring programs, hosting college campus visits and providing ACT prep courses.
