Dickson Public Schools is continuing its partnership with Oklahoma State University and the Dickson Police Department for “Quest for Success.” They are using the $20,500 to implement the Math Institute, Ruby Payne’s aha! Process School Workshops and SREB’s Assessing Academic Rigor to Ensure Grade-Level Participation and College Readiness. In addition, the monies are expanding academic counseling, hosting ACT prep workshops, and providing after-school tutoring and career exploration activities.
