Chouteau-Mazie Public Schools is continuing to partner with Boys and Girls Club of Green Country and The University of Tulsa. They received $16,375 to implement the Math Institute, the Advanced Math Institute, SREB’s Assessing Academic Rigor to Ensure Grade-Level Participation and College Readiness, and SREB’s Building and Leading Effective School Improvement Teams. Also, grant funds are being used to help increase enrollment in Oklahoma’s Promise through individual parent and student sessions with counselors and principals. In addition, the grant monies are providing tutoring and career exploration programs, high school and college campus tours, and parent information workshops.
