
Altus High School received $20,500 to continue its partnership with the Altus Ministerial Alliance and Western Oklahoma State College to implement the Science Institute and SREB’s Assessing Academic Rigor to Ensure Grade-Level Participation and College Readiness. In addition, funds are purchasing books for teacher training that helps educators establish goals, track student progress, celebrate success, effectively interact with students and deepen their understanding of students. Also, grant funds are used to continue the Zeros Aren’t Permitted after-school tutoring program.
