ACT, Inc.
ACT provides a broad array of assessment, research, information and program management solutions in education. ACT will administer the EXPLORE, PLAN and ACT exams and provide student achievement data.

aha! Process and Ruby Payne
aha! Process’ products and training promote a straightforward understanding of the impact of poverty on people’s lives. Training will include, “A Framework for Understanding Poverty,” and “Reaching Under-Resourced Students.”

Aurora Learning Community Association
ALCA provides data analysis tools for state student assessments and online professional development opportunities for teachers, moving GEAR UP school districts forward as professional learning communities.

Battelle4Kids
Battelle4Kids believes the combination of the right people, measures, practices and messages is the key to transformational change in education that results in all students graduating college- and career-ready. Professional development for teachers on value-added data analysis; teacher/student linkage data; and complete value-added data analysis to measure the impact schools and teachers have on students’ academic progress rates from year to year, delivering a more comprehensive picture of student performance will be offered.

Center for Parent Leadership
GEAR UP will offer the Parent Leadership Academy developed by the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence. The academy is for parents of middle and high school students and educates parents about how to assess the progress of their children’s schools and guides and supports them as they become partners in education reform and improvement.

CoBro Consulting, LLC
CoBro Consulting is a research and consulting firm that provides education data management and evaluation services.

College and Career Readiness Consortium
Oklahoma GEAR UP will collaborate with other state grantees to participate in a national evaluation study for GEAR UP interventions and provide opportunities for best practices conferences and networking. 

College Board Advanced Placement
Through Advanced Placement® college-level courses and exams, high-school students can earn college credit and learn from some of the most skilled, dedicated and inspiring teachers in the world. GEAR UP will work with College Board to offer professional development that includes, “Pre-AP Classroom Strategies to Support Common Core Standards.” GEAR UP and College Board will also work together to provide AP support for teachers, students and parents.

College Board CollegeEd
CollegeEd is the College Board's flexible standards-based college planning and career exploration program for middle and high school students. The program includes classroom, online and take-home resources for students, educators and families. The recently revised program includes expanded coverage of self and career exploration content in conjunction with extensive online resources. It provides the information, inspiration and guidance that help students develop their capacity to succeed in college and in life. It's based on rigorous and relevant standards, including the College Board Standards for College Success™, the Partnership for 21st Century Skills Framework and the American School Counselor Association Ethical Standards for School Counselors.

Community Libraries
Community libraries throughout Oklahoma will offer space and computer access for Plan4College centers that feature access to the latest in college prep resources

Grant & Proposal Specialists, LLC
School district grant writers will receive direct instruction from an experienced grant writer on how to effectively design, write and complete an effective and competitive grant application.

Oklahoma’s Community Colleges
GEAR UP will work with selected community colleges to create “liaison” staff that will assist school districts with on-campus activities and serve as a student resource on campus to ensure college student information and access to campus services. Community colleges will also host student summer academies in science, math, engineering and technology.

Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education
GEAR UP will encourage use of the Oklahoma Career Information System (OKCIS) and encourage expansion of the Cooperative Alliance program where students participating in certain CareerTech programs can earn college credit while in high school.

Oklahoma State Department of Education (SDE)
GEAR UP will work with the SDE to access the longitudinal student data system and collaborate on the creation of statewide professional development aligned to the Common Core Standards. GEAR UP will also work the SDE School Improvement Teams to better serve persistently low-performing schools.

Southern Regional Education Board (SREB)
SREB works with 16 member states to improve public pre-K-12 and higher education. SREB is the only regional education compact that works directly with state leaders, schools and educators to improve teaching, learning and student achievement at every level of education. GEAR UP will offer SREB training that includes, “Creating a High Performance Learning Culture,” and online counselor training, “College Access for All Students: Strategies for School Counselors in Career and Academic Counseling.”
