Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Department of Education

Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Department of Education is partnering with Canton, Darlington, Geary and Watonga public schools, Thomas-Fay-Custer Unified Schools, El Reno Indian Baptist Church, Native American Baptist Ministries of Canton, Watonga Indian Baptist Church, All-Tribes Community Church in Geary, and the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribal College for “Bright Futures.”

Bright Futures will host events to increase awareness of Oklahoma’s Promise, other financial aid opportunities and the importance of a college education. Bright Futures staff will work with students to set up OKcollegestart.org accounts to help students and their counselors monitor grades, standardized test scores and college choices.

Also, students will be able to apply online for Oklahoma’s Promise and track their college entrance requirements. Bright Futures will offer ACT and other college entrance exam practice tests, as well as pay for test fees for participating students.
