Community Coalition

Believers in Boswell Community Coalition is continuing its program by partnering with Boswell, Bennington and Soper middle/high schools, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, the Choctaw Nation Healthy Lifestyle/Youth Advisory Board and First United Bank to promote Oklahoma’s higher education opportunities. Believers in Boswell is utilizing the local Plan4College Center to assist students and parents in Boswell and the two neighboring school districts in navigating OKcollegestart.org, enrolling in Oklahoma’s Promise and filling out college entrance applications. In addition, the subgrant will provide funds to host parent/teacher meetings, tax preparation events and financial planning workshops.
