Mountain View-Gotebo
Mountain View-Gotebo’s project, “Tigers on Pace ” focused on increasing the number of students prepared for and enrolling in college by creating a college-going culture at Mountain View-Gotebo High School.
They worked with school administrators and teachers to implement the CollegeEd program, an academic and career planning curriculum for students, teachers and parents, designed to help students understand that a college education is possible and learn how to achieve success in higher education. The team also provided ACT preparation materials, arranged for students and their parents to visit local colleges and hosted two workshops for parents to learn more about college readiness and access.
