Dickson High School
Dickson’s project, “Math Masters,” focused on increasing math scores and enrollment in college-bound math courses.

Team members increased parent awareness of college-bound math courses through displays at parent-teacher conferences and parent information meetings. The team worked with the school administration to encourage all students to enroll in the Achieving Classroom Excellence (ACE) graduation requirements, which provide a framework for Oklahoma students to be prepared for college and the world of work.

Team members also provided funding for eighth-grade students to visit one of the research universities in the state.
