Oklahoma GEAR UP is committed to boosting quality in Oklahoma schools by providing proven resources to help improve classroom instruction and efficiency in administrative and counseling services.
Aimed at fifth- through 12th-grade students and their parents, GEAR UP provides, in both English and Spanish languages, Web sites for parents and students, enhanced resources for teachers and guidance counselors, instructional videos, teacher guides, student activity booklets and college readiness information for the general public.

Counselors can use the Counselor Center on OKcollegestart.org to work individually or with groups of students on preparing for college. Counselors can view progress toward student-designated college prep goals and remind students of important deadlines and applications. They can even help students submit applications and transcripts online with the new Transcript Exchange System.
