The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education support professional development that enhances student preparation. The State Regents provide FREE professional development programs to EPAS-participating schools. A staff of three K-12 specialists are available for on-site training in schools.

Free On-Site Professional Development
The EPAS specialists are available for training sessions that offer assistance in interpretation of EXPLORE, PLAN and ACT results; supporting materials, core curriculum planning and alignment; and using ACT’s College Readiness Standards alignment to Common Core to boost student performance on state assessments. Presentations may be designed for general audiences or specific areas, such as math, English, science, social studies and reading. EPAS specialists working in consultation with a local school will design a program that meets the school’s particular needs. For more information, contact the EPAS staff.

Fall 2013 EPAS Professional Development Workshops
Professional development workshops for administrators, counselors and curriculum leaders will be held statewide in September. Workshops will begin with registation at 8 a.m. and presentations lasting from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Topics will include:
- Legislative and State Regents Update Relative to Student Preparation for College
- Curriculum Planning Using EXPLORE and PLAN Data
- ACT Updates: New Horizons
