EXPLORE - 8th Grade
EXPLORE is the eighth grade component of the Educational Planning and Assessment System. Benefits of the EXPLORE assessments include the following:
- Appropriate use of the assessment results helps to prepare students for high school coursework and post-high school transition.
- Educators are given the means to strengthen high school academic planning and career exploration.
- Schools have a baseline to monitor academic progress.
- Students are given the opportunity to investigate a full range of educational and career options.
EXPLORE at a Glance
ACT recommends that the EXPLORE tests be administered in one session. Allow for two and a half to three hours total administration time.
