ECU’s Center for Entrepreneurship grows entrepreneurs by facilitating opportunities through curriculum, internship and business plan competitions. The Abacus, the first start-up and winner of the business plan competition, is a financial and accounting services company focused on providing these services to the 3.18 million long-haul truckers in the U.S. The Abacus CEO Stephanie Mudge anticipates adding between 250-300 jobs in Oklahoma within five to seven years.
