How many students earn degrees from Oklahoma colleges and universities, and what fields do they study?

Graduate production is a fundamental responsibility of higher education in its contribution to human capital and to our country's economic recovery, productivity, growth and innovation. This dashboard summarizes graduate production data (public and private) from 2011-12 to 2015-16.

Data are reported by the graduate's field of study* in addition to the type of degree and graduate count by year. Data views can be customized using any combination of available filters and parameter controls.

Based on these data, several key observations can be made:

  • More than 190,400 graduates have been awarded degrees by Oklahoma colleges and universities over the last five years.
  • Business, health professions and education have been the most popular fields of study for Oklahoma graduates from 2011-12 to 2015-16.
  • Bachelor's degrees account for 48.7 percent of all Oklahoma higher education graduates during the last five years.
