Minority Teacher Recruitment Center
The Minority Teacher Recruitment Center is a program of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and is created for the purpose of "recruiting, retaining and placing minority teachers in the public schools of the State of Oklahoma."

Minority Teacher Recruitment Center Advisory Committee
The Minority Teacher Recruitment Advisory Committee, a 19-member panel, provides advice and assistance to the center on unmet needs in teacher recruitment. The Advisory Committee is composed of legislators, deans of state colleges of education, public school administrators and teachers, and representatives of communities with high minority populations. The Chancellor for Higher Education, the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and the Executive Director of the Commission for Teacher Preparation are ex-officio members of the Advisory Committee.
